In a cruel twist of fate, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation lost two members of its large family on the same day.

The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau mourns the passing of two dedicated individuals: long-time member and president of the Armenian National Committee of Jerusalem, Georgette Avakian who has played a major role in the recognition of the Armenian genocide within the Israeli political and state circles, and former ARF Central Committee of Greece member and long-time “Azad Or” daily newspaper editor, Hovsep Barazian.
