The Armenian Relief Society is assisting in Artsakh’s fight against the pandemic.

The largest Armenian women’s charity organization, with the support of ARF Dashnaktsutyun, responded to the call of Republic of Artsakh Ministry of Health for support by sending medical supplies, including a large number of electric thermometers to Artsakh.

The medical supplies were shipped from Canada, and another shipment will reach Artsakh from China.
The Armenian Relief Society had reached an agreement with the Ministry of Health to deliver the medical supplies in early March.

“No cases of coronavirus have been reported in Artsakh so far, but this support is a precautionary step to stop the spread of the infection in Artsakh. In spite of all the obstacles, and with the support of the united forces of the Diaspora we must fight against the epidemic in our homeland, ”reads the message of the Armenian Relief Society.

As a reminder, on March 21 the ARF Dashnaktsutyun Bureau [the highest body of the ARF] called on all party structures and sister organizations to make every effort to support the fight against the pandemic.
