ARF Bureau Member and Armenian parliament member Lilit Galstyan visited the United States West, taking part in a series of meetings and community events centered on strengthening U.S.-Armenia engagement, reinforcing organized Armenian community life, and investing in the next generation.
Visit to Armenian Relief Society Western United States
During her United States West visit, ARF Bureau Member and National Assembly MP Lilit Galstyan also met with the Armenian Relief Society WUSA, underscoring the enduring importance of organized community institutions and their role in strengthening Armenian public life. In recognition of her service and ongoing commitment to national priorities, Mrs. Galstyan was honored by Christina Amirian Khanjian, the Chairperson of the Regional Executive Board. The visit reflected a shared emphasis on unity, continuity, and coordinated work—linking Armenia and the Diaspora through long-standing structures of community support and national responsibility.
Visit to Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School
ARF Bureau Member and Member of the National Assembly of Armenia Lilit Galstyan began her United States West visit with a visit to Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School, where she met with students, educators, and community representatives in a meaningful exchange centered on Armenia–Diaspora relations and the role of education in national life.

Mrs. Galstyan was welcomed alongside community, political, and educational leaders. During the visit, students engaged directly with her, raising thoughtful questions on social and educational issues facing Armenia today. Mrs. Galstyan responded in detail, encouraging open dialogue and critical engagement with national challenges.
The visit underscored the enduring importance of the Armenia–Diaspora relationship as an inseparable national pillar and highlighted the role of Armenian schools in cultivating informed, engaged, and committed future leaders.
Strengthening U.S.–Armenia Engagement and Community Institutions
Following her visit to Pilibos, ARF Bureau Member and Armenian parliament member Lilit Galstyan participated in a series of meetings and community events across the United States West, centered on strengthening U.S.–Armenia engagement, reinforcing organized Armenian community life, and investing in the next generation.
Throughout her visit, Mrs. Galstyan met with elected officials, clergy, community leaders, and Armenian youth—underscoring the importance of coordinated action, institutional strength, and sustained public engagement in service of Armenian national priorities.
High-level meeting with Congresswoman Laura Friedman
A high-level meeting brought together Armenian National Assembly Member Lilit Galstyan and Congresswoman Laura Friedman with a focus on elevating US-Armenia cooperation and advancing shared priorities in regional stability and democratic integrity.

Participating in the discussion were ANCA-WR Board Member Dr. Kevork Hagopjian, Esq., ANCA-WR Community Coordinator Garen Jinbachian, ARF Central Committee Representative Garo Madenlian, and ANCA Glendale Chapter member Seda Khojayan. The conversation emphasized the importance of maintaining strong working relationships and consistent engagement to advance shared priorities. Strong collaboration and continued engagement remain key as this important work moves forward.
Meeting with His Eminence Western Region Prelate Kegham Khatcherian
ARF Bureau Member and National Assembly MP Lilit Galstyan met with His Eminence Western Region Prelate Kegham Khatcherian to reaffirm the importance of strong leadership, organized community life, and close cooperation with religious institutions like the Armenian Prelacy.

Mrs. Galstyan emphasized that a strong, collaborative relationship with the Armenian Apostolic Church remains essential to our shared national mission. Joining the meeting and supporting this message were rep Garo Madenlian and members of the ARF Western US Central Committee and ARF Bureau Member Daron Der Khatchatourian.
Celebrating Armenian youth leadership through athletics
Mrs. Galstyan also joined community members in celebrating Armenian youth leadership and unity through school athletics, attending an exciting matchup between Ferrahian and Rose and Alex Pilibos. Both schools’ student-athletes showcased impressive teamwork and sportsmanship, making the game a true celebration of school spirit, community pride, and Armenian youth leadership.

Mrs. Galstyan visited the newly opened ACF Sarkis & Suzan Kitsinian Youth Center in Encino, CA—highlighting the importance of youth-centered institutions that strengthen community life and develop future leaders.

Mrs. Galstyan was greeted by the ARF Rosdom Gomideh and local community members. The visit reflected a shared commitment to empowering youth, strengthening community, and building the future together through organized, mission-driven institutions.
A visit grounded in coordination and continuity
From high-level discussions on US-Armenia cooperation to reaffirming ties with the Armenian Apostolic Church, and engaging directly with Armenian schools and youth institutions, Mrs. Galstyan’s United States West visit carried a consistent message: Armenian strength depends on organized community life, principled advocacy, and generational continuity built through serious investment in youth leadership.
Visit with Homenetmen Western US
Lilit Galstyan also visited Homentemen western US, where she met with organizational leadership and heard updates on the scope of Homenetmen’s work across the Western Region. As Homenetmen noted, they were honored to be joined by Member of the Armenian Parliament and ARF Bureau member Ungeruhi Lilit Galstian, accompanied by ARF Bureau member Unger Daron Derkhachadourian. Also in attendance were Homenetmen Central Committee members Y. Mher Tavitian and Vicken Apelian, as well as ARF Western U.S. Central Committee members Bedig Kazandjian, Rafi Kuyumjian, Levon Baronian, and Khatchig Tazian. Y. Pierre Manoukian and K. Maro Kechichian joined as guests of Homenetmen Western USA. During the visit, Ungeruhi Galstyan learned about Homenetmen’s Western Region and the work being done across chapters, heard reflections from Western Region Board members and Chapter Executive Board members, and shared her own reflections and guidance on the current state of Armenia and the future of the Armenian nation and its people.
