ARF Bureau Youth Office Announcement
01 August 2022
The current regime, which continues to act against the well being of the Armenian people, have once again showcased their divisive and anti-Armenian behavior.
Suneh Abrahamian, a member of the Armenian Youth Federation of The Netherlands, the youth organization of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, was denied entry to the Republic of Armenia on July 31st.
The decision to deny her entry was made without any legal foundations.
Suneh arrived in Armenia to participate in the organization’s annual youth corps program for youth in the Syunik region, organized by ARF youth. The goal of this program is to educate the new generation and pass on civic consciousness, patriotism and various other important topics.
It is important to note that following the denial of entry of ARF Bureau Member Murad Papazian and the political persecution of members of the ARF Youth Organization of Armenia, these treasonous authorities are now targeting dedicated and patriotic members of ARF diaspora youth.
The entrance of these diasporan Armenians to Armenia has been denied while the entrance of Turkish extreme-nationalists has been allowed, as we’ve witnessed in recent weeks.
Considering that the border units in Armenia are under the jurisdiction of Armenia’s National Security Service, we call on Armenia’s National Security Service to properly perform its functions, not to submit to illegal political persecutions, and act in accordance with its regulations, mission and vocation in order to protect and strengthen the national security of Armenia and Artsakh.
Despite the multivariate suppression tactics and political persecution by Nikol Pashinyan and his government, ARF youth around the world stay committed to their work: to get rid of this guilty regime, reestablish our dignified honor, and to rebuild the foundations of the republics Armenia and Artsakh.
